Hiya. My name’s Conrad and I am a Peace Corps trainee volunteer serving as a China 23 (2017–2019). I hail from the hippy city of Portland, OR and spent the last two years working as a UX designer helping people find affordable health care.

I applied to the Peace Corps in September 2016 and was accepted shortly after, much to my surprise. I feel lucky live out a few of my life aspirations: sharing and exchanging culture in China and being able to work as an educator.

I’ve never been much of a writer, but figured as I’m already embarking on several new journeys, why not try a new creative one! This blog records my adventures and helps me stretch my creative muscles. I doubt it’ll be very interesting as I start out, so please leave some comments, criticism, or any other feedback! I’d love to hear from you.
